This policy explains what personal information Built Savage collects, why we collect it, how we look after it, and what you can do about it. We handle your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and its Information Privacy Principles.
Built Savage (“we”, “us”, “our”) sells gymwear and related products online from Christchurch, New Zealand.

Automatically, when you visit the site: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which may include your IP address, browser type and the pages you requested. These are used to keep the site running securely and are not used to identify you.
We never see or store your card details. All payments are processed by Stripe on their own secure pages. Your card number, expiry and security code are sent directly to Stripe and are never transmitted to or stored on our website.
We do not collect information from children. Our products include children’s clothing, but orders are placed by adults and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
We do not collect sensitive information such as health, ethnicity, religious or political information.

Some of these providers store information on servers outside New Zealand, including in Australia, Singapore, the United States and the European Union. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes.
We may disclose information where we are required to by law, or where it is necessary to protect our legal rights.

There is no charge for making a request, although we may charge a reasonable fee if a request is unusually large or repetitive, and we will tell you before doing so.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics on this website.
Your shopping bag is stored locally in your own browser and is not sent to us until you proceed to checkout.
Stripe may set cookies on its own checkout pages for fraud prevention and security. That is covered by Stripe’s own privacy policy.
If we introduce analytics in future, we will update this policy before doing so.
Our website links to our social media pages and to Stripe’s payment pages. Once you leave our site, this policy no longer applies and you should read the privacy policy of the site you are visiting.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always shown on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top. If we make a significant change to how we use your information, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
